The first "Memoirs" of Ionesco, published by Agora Publishing House, will be discussed by Adam Michnik, editor-in-chief of "Gazeta Wyborcza", and theater critic Janusz Majcherek.
"Present Past Past Present "is the most intimate text of the great playwright, showing unexpected shades in his biography and, at the same time, a record of his thoughts on remembrance, fate, politics and history. Eugène Ionesco (Eugen Ionescu, 1909-1994), co-founder of the Theater of the Absurd, author of "The Lessons" and "Rhinoceros", makes an autobiographical confession about his childhood, his key choices during the Second World War and his post-war life in Paris, center of the political and cultural debates of the second half of the twentieth century. Part of the great literature, this book is one of the most important intellectual testimonies of the last century.
